Texans Jarrett Patterson Ruled Out For Week 3

Texans' Jarrett Patterson: Ruled out for Week 3

NFL star wide receiver continues to miss practices

Patterson to sit out against Bears

Houston Texans wide receiver, Jarrett Patterson, has been ruled out for Week 3 against the Chicago Bears. Patterson has been nursing a hamstring injury that has kept him out of practice all week. He had been listed as questionable leading up to the game but was ultimately deemed unable to play.

Patterson's absence is a big blow to the Texans' offense. He is one of their most dangerous playmakers and a favorite target of quarterback Davis Mills. Patterson had a breakout season in 2021, catching 66 passes for 853 yards and five touchdowns. He was expected to be a key part of the Texans' offense this season, but his injury has put a damper on those plans.

Without Patterson, the Texans will have to rely more on their other receivers, such as Brandin Cooks, Nico Collins, and Chris Moore. Cooks is expected to be the team's No. 1 receiver, while Collins and Moore will be counted on to step up in Patterson's absence.

The Texans are hoping that Patterson will be able to return to action soon. However, they are being cautious with his injury and do not want to rush him back too quickly. Patterson is a valuable player, and the Texans need him to be healthy and ready to go when they need him most.
